ConvertWhat happens when you convert PSB to WebP
- PSB is another name for PSD; files ending in .psb work here.
- The full-resolution composite that Photoshop saves inside the file is used, so the result looks exactly like the document in Photoshop. Large PSB files work too.
- All visible layers are merged into one image.
- WebP uses lossy compression, so files get much smaller. Use the Quality slider to balance size and detail.
- Transparency is kept.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to convert my files here?
Yes. Conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them.
Is it free? Are there limits?
It's completely free, with no sign-up, watermarks or daily limits. The only limit is your device's memory for very large files.
Can I convert many PSB files at once?
Yes. Drop as many files as you like; they're converted one after another and you can download them all as a ZIP.
Will converting PSB to WebP reduce quality?
WebP is lossy, so some fine detail is removed to make the file smaller. At the default quality it's hard to see; raise the Quality slider to keep more.
Does WebP keep transparency?
Yes, WebP supports transparency and it's kept.
Are layers kept?
No. The file is flattened into a single image, exactly as it looks. Keep the original if you still need the layers.
